These are the labels that indicate HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE items found in the
home that can put your family, pets, and the environment at risk.

The City of Odessa owns the
Household Hazardous Waste facility (368-3546) in Odessa and is the disposal center for these materials. Remember:
DO NOT mix materials. They MUST be kept in their original containers with original labels
when bringing them into the Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Hobby chemicals including pool chemicals, pesticides & herbicides, glues & adhesives, and latex paint only. You may also take antifreeze & some automotive products including motor oil, toxic cleaning products, and batteries for cars and lawnmowers.
Business or maintenance waste, medical or biological waste, or any type of acids. Also, do not bring oil-based paint, thinners, or solvents. Explosives including lighter fluid, butane, or gasoline including propane bottles are not accepted. Fluorescent or incandescent light bulbs and any type of radioactive materials are also not accepted.
