Paper has its own "DNA" makeup kind of like human beings. It is one of the most multi-purpose materials used in homes, schools, offices, and businesses throughout the world. Each day we enjoy the benefits of paper products such as: the newspaper we read in the morning, the box that holds our cereal, the paper we use for homework and business purposes, and the documents that note the important things in our lives. Paper dates back over 2,000 years. However, over 35% of waste products in America are made up of paper and paper products. Each day American businesses generate enough paper to circle the Earth at least 40 times!
